Whittier Cultural Arts

Jeanette Kelly is in an invitational show of 12 artists, which is being used as a fund raiser for the Whittier Cultural Arts Foundation. It is only up for two days. There is an evening reception wine and hors-d'oeuvres. The cost is $10 and it is tax deductible.

Gift Giving Opportunity

Just in time for Christmas! David and I will be bringing our hand blown glass jewelry to the meeting to sell. Several people have asked about purchasing bracelets or other items. We have earrings, necklaces, eye glass leashes and book markers. All are hand blown glass, with sterling silver or gold vermeil spacers and Swarovski crystals.

I will be discounting them about 30% to the group. If anyone purchases multiple items I will give a larger discount. We no longer travel to jewelry show so I am depleting the inventory. Our jewelry will be available later on our website or Etsy but at or near the normal price.

We will try to arrive 9:30 at the library. If you are interested, you can view and purchase before the meeting. We take cash (of course) but also have the ability to accept credit cards.

Discovery at Soka University

The touring "Discovery" quilts were on exhibit at the recent Flying Geese Quilters Guild Show in Aliso Viejo.  Sally Wright, QOTW member, shared some of her photos with us.
