Korean Sister City Exhibit, Fundraiser and Jung Trio
Friday, July 9th, 5 PM
The Muckenthaler celebrates Fullertons Sister Cities with a special group exchange exhibition featuring artists from Yong-in, Korea and Fullerton. The show travels to Yong-in early next year. In all, 25 different artists showcase paintings, ceramics, sculpture, textile, and works in other media.

A city of 831,000 people, Yong-in is located about twenty-five miles south of the South Korean capitol Seoul. The city is famous for its IT industry, Everland Theme Park and a recreation of a traditional Korean village. The region is also known for its vibrant visual arts culture.

Eight artists from Yong-in will be present for the free opening reception (which includes a calligraphy demonstration) on Friday, July 9 at 5 PM. The exhibit will be open from July 9 until September 26.
Also on Friday, July 9th at 6:00 PM, we will be hosting a special Fullerton Sister City Fundraiser with Korean food and wine tasting. This unique event costs $50.00 and will include the Jung Trio Performance. For more information about the FSCA fundraiser please contact: Mike Oates 714-871-6206 or email him at mikesoates@sbcglobal.net.

The Jung Trio concert will begin at 7 PM for $20. Julie plays the cello, Jennie plays the piano, and Ellen plays the violin. Witness in envy as the ladies showcase their musical talents that seem to run in their genes. The Jung sisters are among todays rising and talented classical stars.
